Resolving an economic paradox – solutions welcome

One of the great paradoxes of Japan is that it is a rich and peaceful land which has suffered from a miserable recession for more than a generation. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has done all he can to promote growth with his Abenomics agenda and some of the more unusual experiments of the central bank are now being copied elsewhere in the world.
