SoftBank founder Masayoshi Son is Japan’s most remarkable business leader. From humble routes in Kyushu, he used a series of gambles to build a sprawling global tech empire. It has included spectacular successes like Alibaba but also a good few “dotcom dogs.” But whatever happens, he has one loyal follower: the big white Hokkaido hound known as Otosan.
